Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at the New Delhi International airport. Our representative will assist you in getting transferred to your pre booked hotel. Check in at the hotel, Relax and get rid of jetlag. Later in the evening if time permits visit India Gate and drive pass Parliament House & Presidents House. Then come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Delhi: A Transition through Time - As you walk along the narrow by lanes of this city of dreams, tread softly. Every crumbling wall has a story to tell. Every yesterday is replete with history. Rulers have come and gone. The city has lived through wars and resurrection, repeatedly rising from the ashes

India Gate: India Gate is constructed as a memorial and was built in the memory of 90,00 soldiers who laid down their lives during world war I. Located at Rajpath, India Gate is 42 m high and is popular relaxation area during the summer evenings. India Gate also acts as popular pinic spot during winter. Also known as the All India War Memorial, India Gate was designed and constructed by Lutyens. He was the one who is considered the chief proclaimed in designing the New Delhi plans.

     

Day 02: Delhi

Have breakfast in the hotel. This day there will be full day sightseeing of Delhi. Visit Red Fort, Enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, the busiest market in Old Delhi... uniquely Indian.

Visit Red Fort (closed on Monday), Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Qutab Minar, Jama Masjid. In the evening you will also be taken to local market for shopping. Later come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Red Fort: Emperor Shah Jahan built Delhi's most magnificent monument, the Red Fort and above is the red fort picture . In 1638 Shah Jahan shifted the Mughal Empire's capital from Agra to Delhi. A new royal palace known as Red Fort or Red Fort Delhi (Lal Qila) was constructed. It was begun in 1639 and completed in 1648. The name Red Fort comes from the massive red sandstone walls that surround it.

Jama Masjid: It is the largest mosque in India. The Jama Masjid stands across the road in front of the Red Fort. Built between 1644 and 1658, Jama Masjid is one of the last architectural works of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The spacious courtyard of the Jama Masjid holds thousands of faithful.

Chandni Chowk: The antiquity of the main market area of Chandni Chowk has rendered it a venerated place in the markets of Delhi. It is said that it was once lined with beautiful fountains. However, with time, it grew as ca Garowded as it is today.

   

Day 03: Delhi – Mandawa

Have breakfast in the hotel. Then get driven to Mandawa. It is located in the heart of the shekhawati region of Rajasthan and is known for its frescos and paintings. The initial part of the drive is through the typical Indian villages. Upon arrival check into hotel.

Visit the printed havelis and surrounding areas of Mandawa . The Painted Havelies of the region are called The Open air art Galleries. The region is unique as nowhere in the world there is such a profusion of exquisite wall paintings.

Afternoon walk around the colorful village dotted with its colorful shops selling a wide variety of things. Later come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

   

Day 04: Mandawa – Bikaner

After breakfast commence drive to Bikaner. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. In the afternoon visits of Bikaner. Places of visit include:

  • Junagarh Fort.
  • Camel breeding farm.
  • Karni Mata Mandir (Rat Temple).
  • Jain Temples.

Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Karni Mata Temple is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Karni Mata at Deshnoke, 30km from Bikaner, in Rajasthan, India. It is also known as the Temple of Rats. The most intriguing aspect of the temple is the 20,000-odd rats that call this temple home. These holy rats are called kabbas, and many people travel great distances to pay their respects. The temple draws visitors from across the country for blessings, as well as curious tourists from around the world.

   

Day 05: Bikaner – Jaisalmer

After breakfast Commence drive to Jaisalmer, "island in the sand", as it is also known. Rawal Jaisal in 1156 founded it. Lying at the extreme edge of Rajasthan, Jaisalmer is a tiny jewel in the heart of the tar, the Great Indian Desert. Once the capital of the Bhati Rajputs, the medieval city rises in a sea of sand on a low range of hills surrounded by a stone wall three miles around- a towering vision in delicate yellow hue-only infrequently broken by green oasis. On arrival check into hotel.

Evening explore around this magnificent fort city. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

     
Day 06: Jaisalmer

After breakfast commence half day city tour of Jaisalmer. Places to visit includes :

  • Gadisagar Lake
  • Jaisalmer Fort which has numerous Jain Temples and Palaces
  • Nathmal Haveli
  • Patwa Haveli

Afternoon is at leisure. Evening drive to Sam, 30 minutes out of Jaisalmer, to witness the magnificent sunset of the mighty dunes.

Return to hotel for overnight.

     

Day 07: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur, once the capital of the state Marwar. Jodhpur is built tumbling down a low sandstone hill, right on the edge of the great Thar Desert. On arrival, have a half day city tour of Jodhpur. Places to visit include

  • Mehrangarh Fort
  • Jaswant Thada
  • Umaid Bhawan Palace
  • Mehrangarh Fort
  • Jaswant Thada
  • Umaid Bhawan Palace

Return back to the hotel for overnight..

     

Day 08: Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur

Have breakfast in the hotel and get driven to Udaipur.

En-route visit Ranakpur. It is famous for Jain Temples. These temples are dedicated to Adinath and date back to the beginning of 15th century…Made up of 29 halls supported by 200 different pillars, this temple has 20 domes which constitute the complex roofing. At the noon time visit these temples.

After visit continue drive to Udaipur. The city of lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes strewn with stalls, carry the flavor of a heroic past, epitomizing velour and chivalry. Their reflection in the placid waters of the Lake Pichhola is an enticing sight. Arrival and check in at the hotel. Evening will be for relaxing. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

     

Day 09: Udaipur

Have breakfast in the hotel. The day will be sightseeing of Udaipur. Udaipur, called the “city of dreams”; its ruler the Maharana, the “sun of the Hindus”, a descendent of the highest ranking “Solar Rajputs”. Udaipur has been named after its founder Maharana Udai Singh.

     

Day 10: Udaipur – Pushkar

Have breakfast in the hotel. Get driven to Pushkar. Pushkar is famous place for its annual fare and the only Lord Bramha Temple in the world. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Then you will be taken for sightseeing in Pushkar. Places of visit includes :

  • Visit the sacred Lake
  • the temple of the God Brahma
  • Then do some shopping in the local market.

Overnight stay at the Hotel.

     

Day 11: Udaipur – Jaipur

Early in the morning, walk up to the hill top temple to get a Bird eye view of Pushkar in the morning dawn.

After breakfast commence drive to Jaipur. Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan still looks cradled and well protected. Jaipur takes its name from maharaja jai Singh, who in the early 1700s became the king of amber at the age of 13. He soon added architect and astronomy to his credentials. He designed the bulk of his new capital, with its exquisite buildings of rose colored terra cotta, thus giving it the name of "the pink city" with pink and orange the dominant colors, the effect is magic at dusk.

Upon arrival, check in the pre booked hotel. Rest of the day is spent exploring the city by visiting the local market. You will also be taken to visit Gems Market. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

     

Day 12: Jaipur

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for an excursion to AMBER FORT in the outskirts of Jaipur. Enjoy Elephant ride in Amer fort. Enjoy the wonderful carvings and minute mirror work on the walls & ceilings. Explore the beautiful architecture of Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Jantar Mantar, then go to see the well preserve history in the Museum. In the evening come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

     

Day 13: Jaipur – Agra

After breakfast at the hotel, get driven to Agra. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, also known as the “Ghost City”. Its gate, Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world is the main attraction of the town. Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Mughals, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Reach Agra. Check in the hotel. In the evening visit Red Fort. Later come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 14: Agra – Delhi

Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the world- the Taj Mahal. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire and even today it seems to linger in the past. Not surprising, for the Mughal emperors with their passion for building, endowed the city with some of the finest structures in the world. It is very easy to slip away here through the centuries into the grandeur and intrigues of the Mughal court.

Early morning visit The Monument of Love – Taj Mahal (TAJ MAHAL REMAINS CLOSED ON EVERY FRIDAY). After having visit, return back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast continue with the visits to rest of the monuments in Agra. Visit includes The Itmad-ul-daulah, Sikandra. You will also be taken to Marble factory to watch the art on marbles. Then get driven to Delhi. Check in the hotel and stay overnight.

     

Day 15: Delhi

This day as per your flight timings get transfer to Delhi International Airport. From here catch your flight back home. Services from our side end here with sweet memories of the tour.
