Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at the Delhi International airport. Our representative will assist you in getting transferred to your booked hotel. Upon arrival, check in the pre booked hotel. Relax and get rid of jetlag. Stay overnight in the hotel. (No Car at disposal)

Delhi: Delhi: A Transition through Time - As you walk along the narrow by lanes of this city of dreams, tread softly. Every crumbling wall has a story to tell. Every yesterday is replete with history. Rulers have come and gone. The city has lived through wars and resurrection, repeatedly rising from the ashes.

   

Day 02: Delhi

Have breakfast in the hotel. This day there will be full day sightseeing of Delhi. Places of visit includes:

  • Visit Red Fort (closed on Monday),
  • Chandni Chowk,
  • Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi,
  • Qutab Minar,
  • Jama Masjid,
  • Humayun’s Tomb.
  • India Gate and drive pass Parliament House & Presidents House.

After the visits return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Red Fort: Emperor Shah Jahan built Delhi's most magnificent monument, the Red Fort and above is the red fort picture . In 1638 Shah Jahan shifted the Mughal Empire's capital from Agra to Delhi. A new royal palace known as Red Fort or Red Fort Delhi (Lal Qila) was constructed. It was begun in 1639 and completed in 1648. The name Red Fort comes from the massive red sandstone walls that surround it.

Jama Masjid: It is the largest mosque in India. The Jama Masjid stands across the road in front of the Red Fort. Built between 1644 and 1658, Jama Masjid is one of the last architectural works of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The spacious courtyard of the Jama Masjid holds thousands of faithful.

India Gate: India Gate is constructed as a memorial and was built in the memory of 90,00 soldiers who laid down their lives during world war I. Located at Rajpath, India Gate is 42 m high and is popular relaxation area during the summer evenings. India Gate also acts as popular pinic spot during winter. Also known as the All India War Memorial, India Gate was designed and constructed by Lutyens. He was the one who is considered the chief proclaimed in designing the New Delhi plans.

   

Day 03: Delhi – Agra

Have breakfast in the hotel and get driven to Agra.

Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the world- the Taj Mahal. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire and even today it seems to linger in the past. Not surprising, for the Mughal emperors with their passion for building, endowed the city with some of the finest structures in the world. It is very easy to slip away here through the centuries into the grandeur and intrigues of the Mughal court.

Reach Agra and check in the pre booked hotel. Later you will be taken for sightseeing of Agra. Visit includes The Itmad-ul-daulah, Red Fort and Sikandra. You will also be taken to Marble factory to watch the art on marbles. In the evening come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Agra: Agra is one of the prominent destinations of the World Tourism map with three heritage monuments -The Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri & Red Fort. It is more just a decadent city of graveyards and stones, but it is a vibrant centre of Culture, Art and Religious philosophies that have enriched mankind and shaped human thought over centuries. Agra is famous for handicrafts products such as Inlay work on Marvel, Leather Work, Footwear, Brasswear, Carpets, Jwellery, Zari and Embroidery work.

   

Day 04: Agra – Jaipur

Early morning visit The Monument of Love – Taj Mahal (TAJ MAHAL REMAINS CLOSED ON EVERY FRIDAY)

After having visit, return back to the hotel for breakfast. Then continue drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri, also known as the “Ghost City”. Its gate, Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world is the main attraction of the town. Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Mughals, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water.

After the visit get driven to Jaipur. Reach Jaipur in the evening. Upon arrival, check in the pre booked hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel.

   
Day 05: Jaipur

Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan still looks cradled and well protected. Jaipur takes its name from maharaja jai Singh, who in the early 1700s became the king of amber at the age of 13. He soon added architect and astronomy to his credentials. He designed the bulk of his new capital, with its exquisite buildings of rose colored terra cotta, thus giving it the name of "the pink city" with pink and orange the dominant colors, the effect is magic at dusk.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for an excursion to AMBER FORT in the outskirts of Jaipur. Enjoy the wonderful carvings and minute mirror work on the walls & ceilings. Then you will be taken to visit the rest of the places. Explore the beautiful architecture of HAWA MAHAL, CITY PALACE and JANTAR MANTAR, then go to see the well preserve history in the MUSEUM. In the evening if time permits you will be taken for shopping. Visit Johari Bazar (Gems market). Later return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Hawa Mahal: Hawa Mahal was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, Hawa Mahal is the most stunning sight in the city of Jaipur. The palace, part of a huge complex, overlooks one of Jaipur's main streets and was originally constructed to offer women of the court a vantage point, behind stone-carved screens, from which to watch the activities taking place in the bazaar and the surrounding streets.

City Palace: City Palace forms one of the most famous tourist attractions and a major landmark in Jaipur. The beautiful palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his reign. Among the various forts and palaces of Jaipur, City Palace stands apart, with its outstanding art and architecture.

     

Day 06: Jaipur – Mumbai

Have breakfast in the hotel. Then as per your flight timings get driven to airport to board your flight to Mumbai. Reach Mumbai and check in the pre booked hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Formerly known as Bombay, Mumbai is the capital of the western state of Maharashtra. The city is a natural harbour lying at the mouth of the Ulhas River on the west coast of India. The Arabian Sea lines the western border of Mumbai, which has an average elevation of 14 m. The city is sub-divided into two distinct regions, Mumbai City district (Island City) and Mumbai Suburban district, which together cover an area of 603.4 sq km. With a population of approximately 12.5 million, Mumbai ranks as the most populous city in India and the fifth most populous city in the world.

Day 07: Mumbai

Have breakfast in the hotel. This day there will be sightseeing of Mumbai. Places of visit include…

  • Hanging Garden
  • Marine drive
  • Dhobi Ghat
  • Crawford market
  • Drive past through Mumbai high court, Tomb of Silence, V.T. Station

After having visits return back to hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

   

Day 08: Mumbai

Have breakfast in the hotel. The day will be for shopping in the famous markets of Mumbai. The best Shopping Markets in Mumbai are Colaba Causeway, Fashion Street and Linking Road. In the evening return to the hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Colaba Causeway: The everyday carnival that is the Colaba Causeway market is a shopping experience like no other in Mumbai. Geared especially towards tourists, that infamous Indian saying of "sab kuch milega" (you'll get everything) certainly applies at this market. Dodge persistent balloon and map sellers, as you meander along the sidewalk and peruse the stalls. Want your name written on a grain of rice? That's possible too. If you need a break from shopping, pop into Leopold's Cafe or Cafe Mondegar, two well known Mumbai hangouts.

Fashion Street: Fashion Street is literally just that -- a street lined with fashion! There are around 150 stalls there. The market attracts hoards of teenagers and college students, who come to grab the latest western clothes and fake brand names at cheap prices.

   

Day 09: Mumbai

This day as per your flight timings get transfer to Mumbai International Airport. From here board your flight back home. Services from our side end here with sweet memories of the tour.
